Hello

I am a male-focused therapist who works primarily with men navigating life’s challenges. Whether that’s stress, anger, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or a sense of disconnection. Many men come to therapy unsure of what to expect or how to talk about what they’re feeling. I aim to make therapy feel straightforward, respectful, and useful. Together, we focus on understanding what’s really going on, building practical tools, and creating a life that feels more balanced and authentic.

My story

I became a therapist through my own experiences of struggle, self-doubt, bereavement and personal therapy. I didn’t come to this work from a place of having it all figured out, I came to it through facing my own challenges and experiencing how powerful and possibly life-changing therapy can be. That process showed me that meaningful change is possible, even when it doesn’t feel that way at first and it motivated me to support other men in finding their own way forward.

For much of my life, I lived with social anxiety. The idea of a career that involved talking openly with people once felt uncomfortable and not a possibility. Even now, social anxiety can still show up for me. The difference is that I understand it, I can tolerate it and I know how to work with it rather than against it. This lived experience allows me to sit with men who feel anxious, disconnected, or unsure of themselves, without judgement or pressure to “fix” anything quickly.

I specialise in working with men and understand how difficult it can be to reach out for support. Many men have learned to push through, stay silent, or deal with things alone.  We all arrive here through different paths, shaped by our own experiences, and we each move forward differently.

My style

I am an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor specialising in working with men. I understand that many men find it difficult to talk openly about their thoughts and emotions, or feel pressure to cope alone. My role is to offer a supportive, respectful, and non-judgemental space where men can speak honestly and be heard, without expectation or criticism.

My integrative approach draws on Transactional Analysis, neuroscience, and person-centred therapy. This allows us to explore long-standing patterns, understand how stress and emotions affect the brain and nervous system, and work at a pace that feels right for you. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship, as I believe meaningful change grows through genuine human connection.

Together, we work to increase self-awareness, develop practical emotional tools, and create a more balanced and authentic way of living. Therapy with me is compassionate, collaborative and centred on the challenges and experiences men navigate daily.

Above all, I aim to create a welcoming space where you can speak openly, be yourself, and feel truly heard. A place to take your time, explore what’s on your mind, and find your own way forward with support and understanding. Together, we uncover what’s beneath the surface, build awareness, and find a path that feels authentic and achievable for you.
